Gas generator sets refer to the power generation device that uses various combustible gas as fuel to drive alternator with the gas internal combustion engine as prime mover to convert mechanical energy into electric energy and thermal energy. They mainly consists of a gas engine, alternator and control system. It is efficient, economical, clean and environment-friendly.

Classification of Natural Gas generator sets:
1. Natural gas generator sets can be divided into conventional natural gas generator sets, oilfield associated gas generator sets, coal seam generator sets according to the different classification of fuel gas. Gas generator sets, shale gas generator sets, etc. Among them, coalbed methane generator sets can be divided into high-concentration generator sets (M.N. ≧70) and low-concentration generator sets (M.N.9 - 69) according to the level of methane content (M.N.);
2. According to different engine speeds, the generator sets can be divided into High-speed natural gas generator sets (speed more than 1000 r/min), medium-speed natural gas generator sets (speed 400-1000 r/min), etc.
