Gaseous Fuels, also known as gas fuels, refer to any gaseous substance that can be burnt to generate heat or power. It generally contains low molecular weight combustible gases such as hydrocarbons, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and often contains non-combustible gases such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
According to their sources, the gaseous fuels can be categorized as follows:
■ Gaseous fossil fuels, include Natural gas, Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and others;
■ Gaseous biofuels, include Biomass pyrolysis gas, Biomass gasification gas, Biogas, etc., which belong to renewable energy sources.
■ Gaseous synthetic fuels, include Synthetic natural gas(SNG), Synthetic ammonia, Synthetic hydrogen fuel, and others.
■ Manufactured gas, include Coal gasification gas, Coal carbonization gas, and Metallurgical by-product gas, etc.
■ Industrial off-gas, include Ferroalloy off-gas, Calcium carbide furnace off-gas, and Oil shale retort gas, etc.
The power plant can use Fossil fuels (such as natural gas, fossil oil, and coal, etc.) or renewable energy sources (such as water, wind, solar energy, and biomass energy, etc.). In short, it is economical and environmentally friendly to choose the fuels or energy forms that are easy to get and suitable for you.

了解更多 +Gaseous Biofuels, such as Biomass pyrolysis gas, biomass gasification gas and biogas, refer to gas fuels produced by biomass pyrolysis and redox reaction or through anaerobic fermentation of microbes and decomposition.
了解更多 +Gaseous synthetic fuels suitable for power plants include Synthetic natural gas (SNG), Synthetic ammonia, Synthetic hydrogen fuel, etc.
了解更多 +Manufactured gas refers to a combustible gas produced from solid or liquid combustibles such as coal and petroleum through thermal processing methods such as dry distillation, gasification, or cracking. Manufactured gas mainly includes: Coal gasification gas, Coal carbonization gas, Metallurgical by-product gas, etc.
了解更多 +Industrial off-gas that can be used for power generation include: Ferroalloy off-gas, Calcium carbide furnace off-gas, and Oil shale retort gas, and the likes of these.
