Oil & Gas Power refers to the technical and equipment system that supplies power to various types of equipment throughout all operation links of oil and gas exploration, development, production, gathering & transportation. It covers power and power supply systems, which are mainly designed to deliver highly reliable and well-adapted power output for the special operating conditions of oil and gas fields, while following the development trend of low-carbon transition and multi-energy complementation.
Oil & Gas Power mainly consists of power equipment, energy supply and technical support.
1. Power Squipment: engines, gas turbines, electric motors and other units that provide power for operations such as drilling, fracturing, cementing, well workover, gas compression and power generation;
2. Energy Supply: energy forms including crude oil, diesel, natural gas and electric power, as well as their applications in oil and gas field scenarios;
3. Technical Support: key technologies relating to the reliability, efficiency, environmental performance and intelligence of power systems.
Fuel Selection: The core design principle for the oil & gas field power system is to give priority to self-produced fuels (such as crude oil, field gas, associated gas, shale gas and coalbed methane, etc.) so as to cut fuel transportation costs and realize the optimized utilization of vented resources.

On remote fields, large engines can be used both to supply electrical power for oil and gas exploration and production or to drive mechanical equipment involved in the long and short distance piping of gas e.g. pumps and compressors. A special advantage is fuel flexibility: Our diesel engines can run readily on crude oil taken direct from wells and conditioned on site while our gas engines reliably ignite well-head gas.
