Methanol Dual Fuel Generator Sets refer to the power generation device that uses both fuel oil (diesel or heavy fuel oil) and methanol as fuels, with an internal combustion engine as the prime mover to drive the alternator and convert mechanical energy into electrical and thermal energy. Dual Fuel Engine allows conventional DF engines to operate on a mixture of methanol and diesel or HFO. The power station also is operated in liquid fuel mode if the supply of methanol fuel is interrupted.
The methanol dual fuel generator set can achieve the mixed use of methanol and diesel, and can operate in both the mode of methanol/diesel dual fuel and pure diesel mode. It is safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally friendly. In many applications, dual fuel generator sets can quickly and flexibly switch between two fuels freely. The unit is widely used in the fields such as power plants, ships, and vehicles.
