Industrial Off-gas Generator Set refer to the power generation device that uses various combustible off-gases generated by industries as fuels, drives the alternator with the gas internal combustion engine as the prime mover, and converts mechanical energy into electrical and thermal energy. It is mainly composed of a gas engine, a synchronous alternator and a control system. It is efficient, economical, clean and environmentally friendly.
In the refining and chemical production enterprises of Oil shale, calcium carbide and ferroalloy, a large amount of low calorific value industrial Off-gas will be produced in the production process. Most of them are dry distillation gas. These combustible gases are mainly composed of CO, H₂ and methane. The composition is complex, unstable, with many impurities, high toxicity, flammable and explosive. Except for a small number of refineries for their own use, most of them are emptying waste.
The generator sets we operate can adapt to the operation needs of various fuels in high, medium and low calorific value ranges. Classification of Industrial Off-gas Generator Sets:
1. According to the different classification of fuel gas, the generator sets can be divided into Oil shale retort gas gensets, Calcium carbide furnace off-gas gensets, and Ferroalloy off-gas gensets, etc.;
2. The generator sets are classified according to different engine speeds, and can be divided into High-speed generator sets (speed more than 1000 r/min), Medium-speed generator sets (speed at 500 to 1000 r/min), etc.
